Hi Mr Ang. Can i ask whether do we leave answers to intermediate workings in fraction or decimals if it is not a exact answer? For example: if i get a=244/20500, do i leave the answer as the fraction itself or 0.01 before i continue with other steps? thanks!

In physics, always leave numerical answers in decimal (instead of fraction).
1. intermediate answers: keep 4 or 5 s.f. for substitution in later steps.
2. if answer is required for a step - round off to 2 or 3 s.f. to state the answer.
